About us

The Property Specialists Ltd is both an estate agency and Mortgage brokerage and was set up in 2007. The Mortgage and Insurance department is organised and run by Steve McCarthy an experienced financial adviser who has been in the industry since 1997. We are a small mortgage consultancy and pride ourselves on keeping things personal and ensuring the advice you receive is perfect for your individual situation.

Our clients receive clear, independent advice delivered in a professional way.

We deal with re-mortgages of both residential and buy to let properties, purchases of both normal residential and buy to let, shared ownership properties, adverse credit mortgages, commercial mortgages and secured loans. The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate commercial mortgages.

At present one can borrow up to 95% of the property valuation for residential mortgages and 85% for buy to let mortgages.

We won't confuse you with jargon and if there are terms you don't understand - as there almost certainly will be, we will do our best to put them into plain English. Our qualified advisers are all regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA -491561) so you can have complete peace of mind that you are getting high quality advice that is in your best interests.

Because we cover the whole of market our first thought is for you, our client, rather than the product provider. We have access to a huge range of lenders and deals, so no matter what your circumstances, make The Property Specialists your first stop.
